Just because it's a movie about superheroes does not mean it will be good (Batman V Superman anyone? ). I'm not even giving it that rating because it's a superhero movie. The direction is perfect, the score is good, it has some truly glorious character moments throughout, and let's just say that the character of Laura is awesome. This film has some of the most riveting action sequences I have ever seen in a superhero film. Patrick Stewart was brilliant as Charles Xavier, surpassing every single performance he gave in the previous instalments, and I also liked Richard E.

He absolutely floored me in this film, his performance was so unchained, so phenomenal that I thought that This film had a very Western look and feel to it, which I thought was a pretty great idea since it added to the feeling of solitude that the film developed. I've always been a massive fan of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine - I think his was one of the best superhero casting choices possible for Marvel, and the same goes for Patrick Stewart as Professor X.
